About

Palace Boutique by H.S.J Designs

In the royal land of Kutch, where heritage and craftsmanship thrive, Palace Boutique by H.S.J Designs stands as the true custodian of its artistic legacy. With the blessings of Maa Ashapura, Late Maharao Pragmulji III, and Maharani Priti Devi of Kutch, we honor the region’s traditions, artisans, and timeless artistry.

This noble vision was brought to life by Kumar Harshaditya Sinh Jadeja of Tera, a visual designer by profession, and a passionate guardian of history, legacy, culture, and traditional arts and crafts. He has crafted his own distinctive fusion—blending heritage with modern contemporary elements, creating products that honor tradition while embracing the present.

More than just a brand, Palace Boutique is an exhibition-cum-sale platform, offering authentic merchandise inspired by Kutch’s heritage, natural ecology, handicrafts, people, and traditions. From custom-made pieces to heritage-inspired installations and curated artworks, every creation carries the essence of Kutch.

At the heart of this endeavor is the Maharao Pragmulji III Center for the Revival of Heritage Crafts, where products are crafted from scratch, empowering women by providing them with skills, opportunities, and financial independence. This center is dedicated to preserving Kutch’s artistic traditions while uplifting the artisans who keep them alive.

Palace Boutique is located at the Pragmahal Atelier inside the Pragmahal campus, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the true spirit of Kutch. After exploring the grandeur of Prag Mahal Palace, one can take home an authentic piece of its heritage—a token of artistry, culture, and tradition. With every purchase, you unknowingly become an ambassador of Kutch, helping to preserve and promote its extraordinary legacy.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR

KUMAR SHRI HARSHADITYA SINH OF TERA - KUTCH

Kumar Shri Harshaditya Sinh Jadeja of Tera–Kutch is the Founder and
Creative Director of H.S.J Designs. Born into the royal family of Tera, the
first heritage village of Gujarat, he grew up surrounded by palaces, frescoes,
textiles, and heirlooms, an upbringing that shaped his respect for Kutch’s
crafts, culture and traditions.

He completed his schooling at The Daly College, Indore, and later
earned a Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) from the Symbiosis Institute of Design,
Pune, where he developed a contemporary design perspective while strengthening
his passion for preserving and reinterpreting India's traditional arts and
crafts.

Through H.S.J Designs he works with grassroots artisans to revive
techniques such as Rai Bandhej and Kamangari - a traditional 18th-century style
of wall painting and mural art native to the Kutch region of Gujarat. His work
spans Bandhani, Ajrakh, embroidery, leather craft, product design, and heritage
storytelling, each piece intended to carry the spirit of Kutch into modern
life, blending authentic handicraft with contemporary design.

He also creates illustrations, graphics, logos, icons, and
heritage-inspired merchandise and other lifestyle products. His work draws
inspiration from the architecture, ecology, wildlife, people, traditions, and
everyday experiences of Kutch, transforming them into contemporary visual
designs and products that promote the heritage and tourism of Kutch.

Harshaditya has also curated The Palace Boutique by H.S.J Designs
at Pragmahal, an immersive space where visitors encounter princely aesthetics
and handmade work. Rooted in local tradition while engaging a growing national
and international audience through exhibitions and online retail, his aim is to
take forward the design legacy of Kutch through his authentic creations.
